Acolytes

The Acolyte Guild is a group of young people who serve God and the Church by assisting the Priest during worship.  This is not because Priests are unable to celebrate the Eucharist without the help of Acolytes.  It is because worship is a group event, where everyone comes together offering their gifts, their talents, and their skills and abilities in the praise of God.

If you are old enough to recite the Lord's Prayer,

old enough to read the Nicene Creed and the Post Communion Prayer

and you know
the response to
"The Lord be with you,"

you can become
an Acolyte.
